Dallas law firm helps people disabled by arthritis seek disability benefits
Kraft & Associates, P.C. is pleased to participate each year in Walk to Cure Arthritis. It is the signature annual fundraising event of the Arthritis Foundation, a national non-profit organization.
The 2023 North Texas Walk to Cure Arthritis was held May 20 at Addison Circle Park, a 10-acre city park that hosts a range of events. Similar walks are held in many communities across the nation.
Arthritis damages the joints and is the leading cause of disability. It affects more than 60 million Americans. Nearly a third of arthritis patients experience work limitations. The Social Security disability attorneys at Kraft & Associates, P.C. have seen firsthand the debilitating effects of arthritis in the clients who turn to our law firm for help applying for disability benefits.
There are more than 100 types of arthritis and related conditions, according to the Arthritis Foundation, but no cures as of yet. The most common forms of arthritis are osteoarthritis, gout, and rheumatoid arthritis. Osteoarthritis, which affects millions of people, is caused by wear and tear and damage to the cartilage that allows the joints to move smoothly.
The Arthritis Foundation provides resources to people who live with the chronic pain of arthritis, advocacy to improve access to medical care, and support for research to find a cure for arthritis.
The participation of Kraft & Associates, P.C. attorneys, and staff in the arthritis fundraising event is one of the ways the dedicated attorneys and staff at Kraft & Associates, P.C. give back to the communities in North Texas.
